NRA Instructor Training

NRA Pistol Instructor Class:
The “gateway” class is the Pistol Instructor followed by the Personal Protection in the Home class. Either one will allow you to teach a Concealed Carry Course in most states. Whichever instructor’s class you take first (I would recommend the Pistol class) will be a two day class. The first day will be the NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) class with the second day being the instructor discipline you are signing up for. The BIT is valid for one year and must be retaken when adding another instructor discipline outside of the one year initial validation period. While all classes strictly follow NRA guidelines for new instructors I will talk about conducting a Concealed Carry class in the free time. Please register on line via www. NRA.org and go to the education and training tab. Cost per person $275. Payment Option 1 is paid in full; Payment Option 2 is a $50 nonrefundable deposit, but transferable to a future class.
